We are pleased to announce that Dan Spuller, Director of Industry Affairs at the Blockchain Association, will be joining Tokenplace’s advisory board. The advisory board also includes Jeff Gary, a fintech entrepreneur and investment veteran, and Chris Aruliah, who heads business development at Bitstamp.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan Spuller as an advisor,” said Tokenplace CEO Nina Knox. “Having interacted with him during his tenure at the Chamber of Digital Commerce, I know him to be a dynamic force in the industry. His commitment to connecting people and making the promise of blockchain a reality fits perfectly with Tokenplace’s core vision of making crypto accessible to all.”
Mr. Spuller has advocated for decentralized digital assets since 2012, spearheading the growth of the Chamber of Digital Commerce from 2016-2020. He works at the intersection of government and industry in the field of decentralized digital assets, now occupying the post of Co-Chair of the North Carolina Blockchain Initiative in addition to his work with the Blockchain Association.
The U.S.A is not only a key market for digital assets, but also the most important legal jurisdiction, often setting the standard for international companies in this space. Mr. Spuller has a wealth of experience dealing with U.S. regulators, having successfully driven a multi-stakeholder campaign leading to the passage of the NC Money Transmitters Act of 2016. His knowledge of the shifting regulatory landscape, together with his vast network of connections with exchanges and other players in the industry, make him an invaluable asset to Tokenplace’s advisory board.
